About — United Against Use

A generation rewriting what prevention looks like.

Mission

Meet youth where they are.

United Against Use is a youth-led nonprofit dedicated to reducing substance abuse among adolescents by tackling the underlying pressures that lead to it. Rather than lecturing young people on the harms of drugs, we meet them where they are — through peer-led workshops, Narcan training, and accessible prevention programming built to scale globally.

Our mission is to shift how the next generation thinks about risk, resilience, and the choices they make before substance use ever becomes an option.

Founder & Executive Director

Rahul Singhal is a senior at Greenhill School passionate about the intersection of public health, policy, and behavioral science. He founded United Against Use in 2024 after seeing firsthand how few prevention resources existed for young people.

He currently serves as a youth policy advocate with Harvard STRIPED, advancing legislation to protect minors from harmful products, and conducts research at the University of Pennsylvania on the pharmacological mechanisms of substance use disorders.

He also works under former United States Deputy Secretary of Defense Paul D. Wolfowitz, studying how international trade networks and foreign policy intersect with the domestic drug crisis.
